Tony Kim is an associate attorney at Nguyen & Chen. He spent large portions of his life in South Korea, Canada, England, and the U.S. After graduating from an international high school in Seoul, South Korea, he graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University where he majored in both journalism and international studies. While at Northwestern University, he had the privilege of honing his skills as a journalist at PC Magazine, KoreAsian Media, and Burson-Marsteller.
He later went on to attend University of Texas School of Law where he joined the Texas Business Law Society, Asian Law Students Association, and the American Journal of Criminal Law. During his time in law school, he was exposed to working in various fields through his internships at the Lower Colorado River Authority, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and a small maritime law firm in Korea.
Tony now works at Nguyen & Chen and helps clients wade through complex immigration and corporate legal issues. He assists clients in obtaining employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas that include H-1B, EB-1A, NIW, and L-1. Tony also provides guidance to clients in corporate matters such business formation and compliance.
